Lion’s Mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) is a highly valued edible mushroom, renowned for its savory flavor and adaptogenic properties. Traditionally used in Chinese Medicine for centuries to treat digestive ailments like acid reflux, indigestion, and ulcers, it has more recently attracted attention for its potential in neurodegenerative treatments. Lion’s Mane promotes nerve cell regeneration (NGF – nerve growth factor) and enhances overall brain function.
Our fruiting bags are carefully produced using only organic agricultural waste—no additives, just locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. The substrate mix, called MasterMix, consists of 50% premium oak pellets and 50% soy hull pellets. This mixture is sterilized and inoculated in our in-house lab with pure Lion’s Mane grain spawn, yielding up to 1kg of mushrooms over 2-3 flushes from a 2kg bag.
Our innovative MycoGrowBox® simplifies the cultivation process by removing the need for a plastic tent and improving success rates. Specifically designed for Lion’s Mane, it can also be adapted for other mushroom varieties and reused.
Detailed fruiting instructions are included with each MycoGrowBox®.
